Over the last several months, there have been some exciting changes at DashLocker HQ. We’ve placed over 20 new DashLocker locations in apartment buildings throughout Manhattan and Brooklyn. We’ve improved our processing by cleaning clothes on Saturday, and we’ve built a simpler website that answers more of your questions.
Now we’re ready to announce one more big change: daytime processing. Many of you are familiar with our servicing schedule, and have even seen the Dash Drivers visiting the lockers at night. However, daytime processing will allow us to serve our customers more efficiently and enable us to provide higher quality cleaning.
Dash Drivers will now be on the road from 9:00am-4:00pm, which means that they will be driving during the times our customers place the most orders. Servicing in the daytime has tons of benefits—we’ll be able to respond more flexibly to service issues, plus our drivers can easily reroute to accommodate new orders.
Along with daytime deliveries, we will be returning to 48 hour turnaround times. This change will decrease the number of partial delivery orders while increasing the quality of our cleaning services. The extra time will also allow our vendors to accommodate new laundry requests, like choosing detergent upgrades and dryer sheet options.
